Fuad Makkouk, MD, is an ophthalmologist in Austin, Texas. He is fellowship trained in retinal surgery from Yale University. Dr. Makkouk and the team at Austin Eye Center provide cutting-edge ophthalmologic care in a patient-centered, boutique setting.
Using the most innovative techniques in retinal surgery, including laser treatments and intravitreal injections, Dr. Makkouk provides individualized treatment for patients ages 17 and older.

Dr. Makkouk - very pleased. He easily explained Ophthalmology terms - I felt very comfortable with the eye exam and the next steps forward. In layman's terms - that would be "great bedside manners" he knows how to talk to patients! Adding - I have now completed both eye's - So happy with my results.
